Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to let you know that I need to cancel my place on a part-time course that starts in September. Until recently, I planned to take the eight week course on Dog Grooming at the Groveton campus.

I was very much looking forward to the class but I am sad to say that my dog died last week. It was hit by a car and passed away a few hours later. For obvious reasons, the course is no longer any use to me.

I did notice that you had a course called Keeping a Reptile as a Pet. I am considering replacing my dog with a tortoise so this would be the perfect course for me. As the two courses start on the same day, would it be possible to transfer my credit to the new course?
