Hi John,

Thank you for your feedback after my recent performance review. I have been thinking about your suggestion to register for an online course and I've found one that would be perfect. It's a six-month course to get certification in repairing gas boilers.

The course is completely online so I wouldn't need to travel off-site. I would just need some time on Friday afternoons to complete the assignments as part of my ongoing professional development. At the end of the course, I would be certified to install class C3 gas boilers in both residential and commercial properties.

In terms of professional development, it would get me closer to becoming a site foreperson. It would also be good for the company as there were a few projects last year that were delayed while we tried to find an outside contractor to do boiler installations.
